BillMark Privacy Policy

1. Overview

BillMark is a local-first iPhone app for creating invoices and estimates. We designed it to keep your work on your device. This policy explains, in plain English, what information BillMark stores and how it is handled.

2. Information stored on your device

BillMark stores invoice, estimate, customer, line item, and business profile information locally on your device. JoJo Built does not operate its own server for storing BillMark invoice, customer, or business profile contents.

3. No account required

BillMark does not require you to create an account or sign in to use the app. BillMark does not operate cloud sync in v1, so your billing data is not uploaded to a JoJo Built server.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

BillMark Pro is an optional subscription. Subscription purchases are handled through Apple and Apple’s in-app purchase system. RevenueCat may be used to manage your subscription entitlement status (whether your Pro subscription is active). Because of this, some purchase-related data may exist with Apple and RevenueCat. We do not claim that BillMark collects no data at all.

This purchase-related data is used to confirm and manage your access to Pro features. We do not use your invoice or customer contents for advertising.

5. PDF sharing and emailing

If you export, share, or email a PDF from BillMark, that PDF may contain the business, customer, invoice, estimate, and line item information you entered. Once you share or email a PDF, it is handled by the app or service you choose to use (for example, Mail, Messages, or another app), and that service’s own terms and privacy practices apply.

6. No sale of personal data

BillMark does not sell your personal data. We do not use your invoice or customer contents for advertising.

7. Data deletion

Because BillMark stores your data locally, you control it. Deleting the app may delete locally stored BillMark data unless your device backup or Apple backup restores it. If you want to remove your data, you can delete records within the app or remove the app from your device.

8. Children’s privacy

BillMark is intended for adults running their own work or small businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
